Len is a Creative Writing Tutor for the WEA (Workers Educational Association). As a writer himself, his own written work usually takes the form of comedy theatre plays which have been produced professionally at venues such as the Liverpool Empire, Liverpool Royal Court and on the London fringe.
Singer/songwriter Pete Rimmer has been a performer since 1967 in those heady days of the folk boom. Over these years he has been involved in numerous folk events in the North West of England, such as concerts at The Atkinson in Southport. Pete is a long-time resident singer at the world famous Bothy Folk Club in Southport ,and a regular performer at a number of folk clubs and festivals such the Fylde Folk Festival. Pete is also a member of the band Gallimaufry.

Chris is a resident singer at Southport’s Bothy Folk Club, concentrating in recent years on his duo with Siobhan. He has worked with bands including the Cluster of Nuts Band (1977-86), The New St George (1988-97), Midnight Flyers (1995-97) and, more recently, the Merseybillies, Gallimaufry and (with Siobhan Nelson and Barry Wake) Nelsons Wake. In the 1990s he contributed music for theatre productions in Hampshire by The Maskers and A Motley Crew.
Siobhan is one half of the duo Chris & Siobhan Nelson, and one third of the trio Nelsons Wake. She has been singer with various bands, over the years, including Cluster of Nuts, The New St George and The Nork Trellis Band. Siobhan was a founder member of Southampton-based Loose Screws Appalachian Dancers, dancing with them from 1988-1998, and also with the team's later incarnation, Kaleidoscope. She is a resident singer at the Bothy Folk Club.
Colin is an actor and singer with a wealth of experience of performing all types of drama and comedy. He has performed in many venues across the Merseyside and the North West with various theatre companies. The Cork Jacket Crew is very pleased to have him aboard as Narrator.
